An employer who employs only himself/herself as a driver shall implement a random alcohol and controlled substances testing program of two or more covered employees in the random testing selection pool. This is typically managed by a third-party administrator (TPA).
Companies with more than 1 covered employees can also join the Consortium DOT Drug & Alcohol Testing random pool, at National Drug Screening we recommend a standalone pool for employers with 20 or more covered employees.
