Joe Reilly is a drug testing industry professional since 1993. He has a dedication to the drug testing industry and to helping others achieve success. In 1993, he and his partner Jim Greer started Florida Drug Screening. After selling Florida Drug Screening in 2008, Joe went on to provide drug test consulting and training throughout the United States. In 2013, Joe started up National Drug Screening (NDS). This new company grew fast and furious with over 6 million in revenue in 2019.
Born and raised in New York City, Joe has been an entrepreneur since his early teen years. He attended Power Memorial Academy High School and Manhattan College. Joe graduated Manhattan with an Accounting and Marketing degrees. Joe’s career has evolved from various positions including bartender, restaurant manager, State tax auditor, retailer of window coverings, risk management consultant and finally since 1993 operating drug testing business.
In 1983, Joe moved to Florida where he has remained. He and his wife Robin currently reside in the beachside community of Indialantic, Florida. Joe travels extensively throughout the United States for drug test consulting, training, and expert witness testimony.
Professional Background
Extremely active in the drug testing industry, Joe Reilly served for eight years on the Board of Directors of the Drug & Alcohol Testing Industry Association (DATIA merged with NDASA in 2023). Four of those years Joe served as the Chairman of the DATIA Board of Directors. Currently Joe is a member of four industry associations:
- National Drug & Alcohol Screening Association (NDASA)
- Substance Abuse Program Administrators Association (SAPAA)
- Drug & Alcohol Testing Industry Association (DATIA)
- Professional Background Screening Association (PBSA)
Over the last 25 years, Joe has written publications and provided speaking engagements for many organizations. His consulting firm Joe Reilly & Associates is sought after for advice, guidance, training, presentations, and expert witness testimony.
What are Joe Reilly’s Hobbies?
Living in a beach community, Joe obviously loves the beach. He likes to be outdoors whether walking, grilling on the BBQ, hanging on the beach or at the pool. Reading is a passion since grade school. Joe likes to travel with his wife Robin including many trips to many islands of the Caribbean. Those that know Joe well might call him a work alcoholic but also know he takes out time on weekends and vacations to enjoy life. Joe Reilly’s biggest passion is helping other entrepreneurs to succeed.
