Lori Lal, Senior Consultant for National Drug Screening
Lori Lal was born and raised in Southern California. She attended Chaffey High School and thereafter continued on at Chaffey College in Rancho Cucamonga, CA, where she studied nursing.
After working for medical offices for many years, Lori transitioned to work as a paramedical examiner with the life insurance industry. While working as a paramedical examiner and utilizing her medical experience, Lori started LGS Drug Testing in 1994 to assist companies and employers in meeting compliance requirements for drug and alcohol testing and to help make workplaces safe and drug-free. The business located in Upland, California serviced clients all over the United States with a nationwide reach.
As an expert in compliance for transportation related employers, Lori has assisted hundreds of FMCSA regulated companies with new entrant exams and safety audits. She has also worked with companies regulated by the California Public Utilities Commission (PUS) and the California Highway Patrol Rotation Tow Program. LGS drug testing has remained the premier provider in California for regulated drug testing in the transportation industry.
Lori was also a certified on-site collector for both drug and breath-alcohol testing. In addition to being a member of the Drug and Alcohol Testing Industry Association (DATIA merged with NDASA in 2023), Lori and LGS Drug Testing literally “wrote the book” for the drug testing industry by authoring the Consortium/TPA training textbook manual for the DATIA certification program.
In 2020, after proudly serving the drug and alcohol testing industry for nearly 25 years, Melbourne, Florida-based National Drug Screening, Inc. recently acquired LGS Drug Testing. National Drug Screening will continue to provide the highest in superlative customer service and training to its customers.
