National Drug Screening, Inc (NDS) is a member the Drug and Alcohol Testing Industry Association (DATIA). Since 2015, NDS has maintained status Nationally Accredited for Administration of Drug and Alcohol Testing Programs (NAADATP). We are proud to be 1 of 39 TPA’s in the nation to be Accredited. (UPDATE: DATIA merged with NDASA in 2023)
May 22nd to May 24th, 2018 – Drug & Alcohol Testing Industry Association (DATIA) Annual Conference in New Orleans with Joe Reilly as a presenter. Mr. Reilly’s session, titled “Big Easy Ideas to Grow Your Business” provided a showcase of his more than 20 years of experience growing businesses in the alcohol and drug screening industry.
April 26-28, 2016 – DATIA Conference in Las Vegas. DATIA’s annual conference is geared toward all professionals and experts involved in the drug and alcohol testing process. National Drug Screening was proud to exhibit at the conference with our management team all present – Julie Floriano, Tom Fulmer and Joe Reilly. It was great to see many customers and to talk to and many others who signaled strong interest in our services.
March 2016 – DATIA, The Drug and Alcohol Testing Industry Association just completed their “Train the Trainer” Educational Conference in Houston Texas. The purpose of the conference is to improve the knowledge and expertise of drug screen collectors, Industry Trainers, Supervisors, and DERs (Designated Employer Representatives).
April 2015 – My friend and mentor, Diana Bauske; will be remembered for her passion for education and professionalism in the drug and alcohol testing industry. Diana sadly passed away in September of 2014. I am so proud that DATIA has started the Diana Bauske Educational Scholarship Fund. National Drug Screening was happy to make a donation to help get the fund started.
May 8, 2014 – The Drug and Alcohol Testing Industry Association (DATIA) has again elected Joe Reilly to serve on its board of directors. DATIA is a national trade organization of drug and alcohol testing providers. Reilly will be seated as a director at the upcoming Board meeting May 27, 2014 at the Arizona Biltmore Resort. This will coincide with the annual DATIA national conference to be held May 28-30, 2014 also at the Arizona Biltmore Resort and Spa – Phoenix, Arizona.
Reilly previously served as a DATIA board member from 2001 – 2009 and served as Chairman of the Board from 2004 – 2008. Under Joe’s leadership, the organization grew to over 1300 members with a balanced budget and healthy reserve account becoming the dominant industry association for the drug testing industry. The industry magazine FOCUS was launched in 2008 as one of the highlights of Joe’s four year term as Chairman.
June 1, 2014 – The 2014 DATIA Annual Conference was held at the Waldorf Astoria Biltmore Resort in Phoenix Arizona. Phil Dubois was elected as Chairman of the Drug and Alcohol Testing Industry Association, Inc. (DATIA). The conference had record breaking attendance consisting of industry professionals, employers and DOT regulatory officials. Patrice Kelly, the Acting Director of the Office of Drug and Alcohol Policy and Compliance (ODAPC) in the Office of the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) provided an update on the DOT drug and alcohol testing program.
Wednesday, August 13, 2014 – DATIA webinar with Mr. Joe Reilly, a seasoned industry professional, offered some best practices that TPAs are using to stand out and provide the best-in-class service and support to their employer clients. Collecting urine is only part of the process. Service agents need to have knowledge and continuing education to successfully identify and apply best practices and compliance while reducing business expenses and improving organizational efficiency for both the client and the TPA operation.
