-->\n<p>FTA requires each employer to establish a policy that defines its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nationaldrugscreening.com\/order-drug-tests\/\"><strong>Drug and Alcohol Testing Program<\/strong>,<\/a> and requires the entity\u2019s governing body to formally adopt the policy.<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p><strong>Designated contact person, board adoption\u00a0\u00b7<\/strong>\u2022Identity of the person, office, branch or position designated by the employer to answer employee questions about the anti-drug and alcohol misuse prevention program\u00a0<br \/>\u2022Approval\/adoption by the local governing board of the employer or operator, or other responsible individuals with appropriate authority\u00a0<br \/><br \/><strong>Covered Employees\u00a0<br \/><br \/><\/strong>\u2022Operation of a revenue service vehicle, in or out of revenue service\u00a0<br \/>\u2022Maintaining a revenue service vehicle or equipment used in revenue service\u00a0<br \/>\u2022Controlling dispatch\/movement of a revenue service vehicle (determined by employer)\u00a0<br \/>\u2022Operation of a non-revenue vehicle requiring a CDL\u00a0<br functions\u00a0<br \/>\u2022Alcohol use prohibited 8 hours after accident or until Post Accident test is performed\u00a0<br \/>\u2022Employees are prohibited from performing safety-sensitive functions while having an alcohol concentration of 0.04 or greater\u00a0<br \/><br \/><strong>Pre-employment\u00a0<br \/><\/strong><br \/>\u2022Negative test before 1st safety-sensitive duty, must be made up if canceled\u00a0<br \/>\u2022If out of safety-sensitive duty for 90+ days, and out of random testing pool, emp needs DOT pre-employment test with negative result prior to returning to covered
