{"id":50964,"date":"2015-06-04T06:10:05","date_gmt":"2015-06-04T06:10:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.nationaldrugscreening.com\/?p=50964"},"modified":"2023-09-06T12:26:04","modified_gmt":"2023-09-06T17:26:04","slug":"reilly-awarded-top-entrepreneur","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nationaldrugscreening.com\/blogs\/reilly-awarded-top-entrepreneur\/","title":{"rendered":"Reilly Awarded Top Entrepreneur"},"content":{"rendered":"\r\n<p>The <strong>national trade association<\/strong> for the drug testing industry has awarded its top entrepreneur award to Joe Reilly of Melbourne, Florida.\u00a0 The Top Entrepreneur award is designed to recognize and honor the entrepreneur who has started a company and had great growth in the industry through innovation, creativity, and hard work.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The <strong>Drug and Alcohol Testing Industry Association<\/strong> (DATIA merged with\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ndasa.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NDASA<\/a>\u00a0in 2023) celebrated its 20<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary at its annual conference June 2 \u2013 4 at the Trump National Doral in Miami, Florida.\u00a0 Awards were presented for Top Entrepreneur, Technological Innovation, Exemplary Professionalism, Public Awareness and Lifetime Achievement.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Involved in the drug testing industry since 1993, Joe Reilly has become a nationally recognized expert on workplace drug testing issues.\u00a0 He has owned and operated drug testing companies in addition to serving as an industry consultant.\u00a0 Joe had the honor and privilege of serving as the Chairman of the DATIA board of directors from 2004 &#8211; 2008. Today, Joe is again serving on the DATIA Board and participates with DATIA on the Education Committee, Membership Committee, a Course Instructor, webinar presenter, conference speaker and Regional Certified Professional Collector Trainer (RCPT). \u00a0Reilly also regularly contributes articles to the drug testing industry quarterly magazine DATIA Focus.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>\u201cI am humble and honored that my peers in the industry have voted to award me this recognition as the top entrepreneur\u201d stated Reilly \u201cwe have a great industry with 100\u2019s of entrepreneurs all working hard to keep America\u2019s workplaces drug free.\u00a0 I am very proud of our industry.\u201d<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>What is unique about Joe Reilly as an entrepreneur is his passion to help other entrepreneurs realize their business potential.\u00a0 There is not a week that goes by where Joe is on the phone or traveling to meet another business owner to provide guidance and assistance.\u00a0 He often spends countless hours helping others without any expectation of a paycheck.\u00a0 Many DATIA members keep Joe\u2019s number on speed dial to seek assistance or just get a quick question answered.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Based in Washington, DC; the Drug and Alcohol Testing Industry Association (DATIA) was founded in 1995 and represents the entire spectrum of drug and alcohol service providers including collection sites, laboratories, consortiums\/TPAs, MROs, and testing equipment manufacturers.
