For Non-DOT drug testing, instant or point of collection testing (POCT) is often utilized by employers for applicant or employee screening for drugs.\u00a0 The urine specimen collection can be done in house by the employer representative or at a drug collection facility including at a LabCorp or Quest Diagnostics Patient Service Center (PSC).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
National Drug Screening works with LabCorp and Quest Diagnostics Patient Service Center (PSC) facilities for instant drug testing. Negative results become available the same day. If the device does not produce a negative result, it is non-negative requiring further testing at a laboratory. This is called confirmation testing and the specimen is sent into the lab for the confirmation test and then the result goes on to a Medical Review Officer (MRO) for review and reporting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
