{"id":51158,"date":"2016-11-01T10:07:41","date_gmt":"2016-11-01T10:07:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.nationaldrugscreening.com\/?p=51158"},"modified":"2022-12-01T11:34:43","modified_gmt":"2022-12-01T16:34:43","slug":"video-blog-hair-testing-etg-alcohol-testing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nationaldrugscreening.com\/blogs\/video-blog-hair-testing-etg-alcohol-testing\/","title":{"rendered":"Video Blog: Hair Testing &#038; ETG Alcohol Testing"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Video Blog &#8211; Hair Testing &amp; ETG Alcohol Testing<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Hair Testing<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Recently our office has received many requests for hair follicle testing and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nationaldrugscreening.com\/drug-testing\/\">ETG Alcohol Testing<\/a><\/strong>.&nbsp; The short video talks about hair testing for employers and individuals and ETG alcohol testing for individuals and for attorneys for their clients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>National Drug Screening provides <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nationaldrugscreening.com\/drug-testing\/\">hair follicle drug testing<\/a><\/strong> for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nationaldrugscreening.com\/employer-programs\/\"><strong>employers<\/strong><\/a> and for <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nationaldrugscreening.com\/immediate-drug-testing\/\">individuals<\/a><\/strong> in all areas of the United States.&nbsp; We see many employers now moving to hair testing because it has a longer look back period and it is difficult to cheat on a hair test.&nbsp; Our company offers hair testing at fair and reasonable prices for employer drug free workplace program and for individuals for probation or court ordered drug testing.&nbsp; We get calls often from attorneys needing hair testing for their clients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Same day service is available in many our locations for hair testing.&nbsp; For a hair test you must have hair on your head or on your arms or legs.&nbsp; The typical hair follicle drug test if for the five panel drug test that includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Marijuana<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cocaine<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Opiates \u2013 opium and codeine derivatives \u2013 morphine and&nbsp; heroin<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Amphetamines and methamphetamines including Ecstasy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Phencyclidine \u2013 PCP<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We also offer a hair test panel that will include expanded opiates including:&nbsp; hydrocodone, hydromorphone, oxycodone, OxyContin and oxymorphone.&nbsp; Different from many other drug testing companies National Drug Screening also provides a 7 panel hair test, a 9 panel hair test, a 12 panel hair test and a 14 panel hair test.&nbsp; The expanded hair drug testing panels picks up additional drugs such as: Fentanyl, Tramadol, Meperidine and Sufentanil.&nbsp; Sufentanil (brand name Sufenta) is a synthetic opioid analgesic drug approximately five to 10 times more potent than its parent drug, fentanyl, and 500 times as potent as morphine.&nbsp; Testing for Sufenta is only available with the 14 panel hair drug test.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>ETG Testing<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our calls for ETG testing increase each day.&nbsp; More and more court ordered drug testing includes alcohol testing with ETG.&nbsp; Ethyl Glucuronide or ethanol (EtG) is an intoxicating ingredient found in alcohol based foods and liquids produced the fermentation of yeast, sugars, and starches.&nbsp; ETG alcohol testing is usually ordered for zero tolerance and abstinence situations.&nbsp; Often we are adding ETG to a urine drug testing panel such as a 10 panel drug test. The ETG urine alcohol test can detect alcohol consumption up to 90 hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is important to note that the ETG test will not determine how much alcohol a person has ingested, or whether a person is under the influence of alcohol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ETG testing with hair is also available with a look back period of up to 90 days.&nbsp; National Drug Screening offers ETG testing with hair, typically it is about 2 days to get into one of our facilities for this type of testing.&nbsp; In some cases same day service is available.&nbsp; ETG alcohol hair test results will be available about 5 business after the hair is collected and sent to the laboratory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our laboratory partner for ETG alcohol testing is&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.expertox.com\/index.php\">ExperTox<\/a>&nbsp;in Houston, Texas.&nbsp; Hair specimens are sent overnight FedEx to our laboratory.
