Often called a hair follicle test, this is not the correct terminology. Testing a hair follicle<\/a> would involve plucking hair out of the scalp. This is not what happens. The hair is cut at the base of the scalp. The laboratory tests the drug metabolites that are embedded into the hair. There are not any ways to cheat on the hair drug test. Some folks will shave all the hair off their body. This makes it impossible to do the hair test. If a hair drug test is required for employment, the individual who shaved their entire body will not be eligible for the hair drug test.
