Jaguars' locker room quiet following ugly loss to Detroit Lions

Players showed up to the locker room Monday looking and feeling defeated. The team is in need of a break.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Jaguars locker room wasn't buzzing on Monday following the Detroit Lions beatdown Sunday.

The Jaguars didn't score a single touchdown against the Lions in the 52-6 loss. The six Jaguars points came from kicker, Cam Little.

Players showed up to the locker room looking defeated. The team is in need of a break. They've played 11 straight weeks, and it hasn't been the best.

"We're all fighters and we're not going to show that we're tired," said Jaguars wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. "It gets to a point where your body starts wearing down a little bit, so you need a break."

"It's tough on anybody," Jaguars offensive lineman Anton Harrison added. "Eleven straight weeks of what we do is hard, but it's what we signed up for. It's not really an excuse. It's something that's true and something that we have to just come back stronger and better."

The Jags are back at home on Dec. 1 against the Houston Texans.
